Getting your cupcakes at a counter is sooo five minutes ago. And cupcakes taste better individually packaged and dispensed at an ATM, right? How did this all come about you ask? The story goes that the creators behind sprinkles was preggy (about 6 years ago) with her first and craved a cupcake after store hours, hubby thought if you can get money at any hour why not a cupcake?…. and the sweet tooth idea was born. The machine can dispense up to 20 varieties by way of a touch screen that works just like a bank ATM: You make your selection, swipe your credit card, and out comes your treat in a brown and pink box.
Each cupcake costs $4.25. Flavors include red velvet, Cuban coffee, banana dark chocolate and cinnamon sugar. Each flavor to die for…. moist, full of flavor and not cloyingly sweet. In this dog loving town, There is even an offering for dogs: two mini-cupcakes for $5. They come in one flavor, are sugar-free and have a yogurt frosting.
The machine will be able to hold 760 cupcakes at a time and will be restocked two to three times a day to keep things fresh and delish! Long lines form after dark! Who known cupcakes could be your next addiction?
