French General is chock full of little bits and antique baubles for jewelry, crafts, etc. Like raiding a French steamer trunk full of old newspapers, beads and linens. This store is heaven for those of us who love vintage and love to craft. The French fabric and vintage millinery supplies are awesome! When entering the shop I immediately began to feel a craving for all things rural French. The natural hemp sheets, the essential oil balms and the overwhelming scent of lavender had me suckered once again. If you are in the" LA Area" and want a quick get a way to France this is your destination.  Lucky for Pam and myself,  FG is were we headed straight from the airport with luggage in tow! We were not disappointed! we were met by Kaari and her staff with a fantastic lunch and make n take…. The start of our Fabulous Downton Abbey Affaire was beginning ……...
